Direct Midstream agrees to a transitional acquisition of 11 Waste and Disposal Facilities in the Midland Basin of the Permian from AggieTech Capitals privately funded water management company Sparta Waste & Disposal.

Midland, TX – Direct Midstream, a leader in waste and disposal solutions for the oil and gas industry, announced today the transitional acquisition of 11 commercial waste and disposal facilities located in the Midland Basin of the Permian from Sparta Waste & Disposal. The move significantly expands Direct Midstream’s network of operations in one of the most active oil-producing regions in the United States.

With these assets , Direct Midstream enhances its ability to provide a comprehensive, cost-effective, and safe waste management solution for operators in the Midland Basin. The company's portfolio now includes commercial saltwater disposal wells, semi-solid waste facilities, and R9 oil reclamation sites. These facilities will support a wide range of services for operators in the Permian , helping them manage the increasing volume of waste generated by field operations.
